Boys used cigar boxes.I still do that. If fact I found a cool marble on my walk today, came home and put it in a box.
Like Jem Finch saving the things Boo put in the tree for him and Scout.I pick up little mementos all the time too. They usually end up on my desk at work or on a windowsill at home.
